Job Title : Junior Consultant-Pediatrics

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Junior Consultant in Pediatrics to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental health. This role involves working collaboratively with senior consultants, medical staff, and families to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct medical assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans for pediatric patients.
2. Provide routine check-ups, vaccinations, and growth monitoring.
3. Assist senior pediatricians in managing complex cases and performing medical procedures.
4. Monitor and manage inpatient care, including the treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
5. Educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, and preventive care.
6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address patients’ medical and psychological needs.
7. Maintain accurate medical records and prepare detailed patient reports.
8. Stay updated on advancements in pediatric medicine and incorporate best practices into care.
9. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

1. MBBS degree with an MD/DNB in Pediatrics from a recognized institution.
2. Valid medical license to practice as a Pediatrician.
3. 0–2 years of experience in a pediatric role or residency.

1. Strong clinical knowledge of pediatric diseases, conditions, and treatments.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children and families.
3. Empathy and patience in handling young patients and their concerns.
