The Sales Executive – IVD is responsible for driving sales of diagnostic instruments, reagents, and consumables to pathology labs, hospitals, and diagnostic chains. The role involves territory management, client acquisition, product promotion, and achieving sales targets while ensuring excellent customer service.
Promote and sell IVD products such as analyzers, reagents, and lab consumables to diagnostic labs, hospitals, and healthcare centers.
Generate new leads through market visits, cold calling, and referrals.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions with lab technicians and decision-makers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and ensure timely payment collections.
Provide after-sales support by coordinating with application specialists and service engineers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and provide strategic feedback.
Maintain accurate sales reports, pipeline status, and CRM records.
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or B.Pharm
MBA in Marketing (preferred but not mandatory)
1–3 years of sales experience in IVD or medical devices (freshers with strong interest may also apply)
Good understanding of IVD products and laboratory workflow
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Result-oriented with ability to work independently in the field
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Willingness to travel extensively in assigned territory
