Job Summary:
The Radiographer is responsible for operating imaging equipment such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound machines to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions. The role requires ensuring patient safety, maintaining high-quality imaging standards, and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
Follow safety guidelines and radiation protection protocols.
Adjust imaging parameters based on patient conditions and radiologist instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
Coordinate with radiologists and physicians for image interpretation.
Regularly inspect and maintain imaging equipment for optimal performance.
Adhere to hospital/clinic policies and regulatory standards (e.g., AERB guidelines).
Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or equivalent.
Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role (freshers may be considered based on qualifications).
Strong knowledge of radiology procedures and patient care.
Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency cases.
