Job Title : Nursing Educator
Job Summary:
The Nursing Educator is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating nursing education programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of nursing staff and students. This role involves curriculum development, training delivery, and ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and best practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs for nursing staff and students based on the latest healthcare practices.
- Conduct classroom lectures, hands-on training, and clinical simulations to improve nursing competencies.
- Assess the training needs of nurses and design educational plans accordingly.
- Ensure that nursing education programs comply with medical guidelines, hospital policies, and accreditation requirements.
- Mentor and guide nurses in clinical decision-making and patient care practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback.
- Stay updated with advancements in nursing practices and integrate them into training modules.
- Collaborate with hospital administration and nursing leadership to improve patient care standards.
- Maintain documentation of training sessions, assessments, and nurse competency records.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing or M.Sc. Nursing).
- Certified Nursing Educator (CNE) certification is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in clinical nursing and education/training roles.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care, and clinical guidelines.
- Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills.
