Job Title : Dialysis Technician
Summary:
The Dialysis Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining dialysis equipment to provide safe and effective care for patients with kidney disorders. They work closely with nephrologists and healthcare teams to ensure patient comfort and safety during dialysis procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate dialysis machines and related equipment.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of equipment.
- Record patient vitals and treatment details accurately.
- Assist patients with pre- and post-dialysis care, including education on the process.
- Respond promptly to complications or emergencies during treatment.
- Maintain compliance with safety and healthcare standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in Dialysis Technology.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a dialysis center or hospital setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
